Executive Director: The Presbyterian Counseling Center, Greensboro, NC

The Presbyterian Counseling Center, located in Greensboro NC, was founded in 1975. In the past thirty-three years, the Center has grown from a staff of one to a multidisciplinary staff of mental health professionals. PCC now owns its own building in a peaceful environment, has an endowment of $150,000, an annual budget of over a half million dollars and provides over 6,000 hours of effective services a year. Our founding and current Executive Director will retire effective July 31, 2008 after thirty-three years of service. We are seeking applications from qualified persons for this vacancy. We seek a progressive leader with vision, strong faith, and a commitment to effective mental health administration and clinical service. The new Director must be a skilled manager of human and financial resources, and be able to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative personnel, funding sources, and faith communities. As part of its strategic plan, Elon University is implementing a dynamic and creative career services program focused on teaching students professional life/career management skills and preparing them for securing and successfully navigating internship experiences, first jobs after college, and later career opportunities.
